Barbecue gets its due in K.C.
Everything’s up to date in Kansas City, Mo. Except the barbecue. K.C. barbecue, I can happily report, is still as it has always been: a delicious, traditional mishmash of cooking styles and tender meats, all drenched in the sweet, thick, spicy glop that has become the definition of American barbecue sauce.
